Toronto Police Not Ready For More DNA
Toronto Police Chief Julian Fantino says it’s simple. Start collecting DNA samples from every arrested person and watch the cold cases boil. Build the DNA Databank with genetic profiles from people accused of crimes but not yet tried or convicted and the number of unsolved sexual assaults, homicides and other serious violent crimes will shrink tangibly.
