Raptors and “Lenny” Wilkens Part Company
After withstanding months of sustained criticism, it looked as if Toronto Raptors basketball coach Leonard “Lenny” Wilkens had finally gotten a break. The N.B.A. All-Star show, coinciding with a brief Raptors 5 of 6 game winning streak, had seemingly muted the media vampires and bleating fans who wanted Wilkens’ blood on the bench.
